Michael Keaton was an American actor, producer and director famous for his role as the lead of Birdman. As a versatile actor, he is able to perform comedy and dramatic parts. His professional career has seen him perform a number of characters who are romantic, and also in action films. He developed an interest in performing and acting when he was in his teens and tried his hand at stand-up comedy while young men. Although his stand-up show was not successful it helped to open the way for his acting. Since he wasn't able to succeed as acting, he decided to work as a TV cameraman. As he was doing his work, he came to realise that he would like to appear in front of the camera. When he was offered a part in a television show, he appeared in many seasons of Mister Rogers Neighborhood. So it was not a surprise the actor quickly gained a following as a well-known TV actor. When he began his film career, he had high aspirations and became well-known for his comical characters. The actor became more famous when he played Batman who was the title character in Tim Burton's Batman. The actor grew in his craft in the years to come and then ventured into the direction and production worlds. The role he played in 2014's Birdman was nominated for numerous nominations and accolades.
